What I Got For Christmas | Lush Bath Bombs | Tea And Beauty

I love a Lush bath bomb, I mean who doesn't right? So imagine my excitement when I open these bad boys up on Christmas morning. Floral is my favorite scent really, it's nice and girly and always reminds me of spring and summer, so these were the perfect products for me.

Frozen Bath Bomb

If you have been reading my blog in the past then you may just remember I did a post on this one before. It was one of my favorites back then and it is still one of my favorites now.
Grapefruit oil will uplift and refresh, whilst Rose Oil balances and restores and Neroli Oil uplifts and tones. It has a beautiful floral scent and leaves your bath an amazing deep blue with a tun of glitter.

Father Christmas Bath Bomb

This was one I actually wanted to try last year but just for some reason never got the chance to do, so I was rather pleased that this one was in the bag. Unfortunately I am not sure what is actually in this, as I am sat here typing this up Lush have taken it off the website...booo!
What I do know though is that it smells so good, it's rather a strong scent and has made the bedroom smell, you can smell it every time you walk into the room, much to the dismay of my boyfriend who hates the smell of Lush (yes he's slightly weird). I am looking forward to this one and it will  very possibly be the next one I use.

Think Pink

This is one I have seen but never actually tried, why I'm not sure, as soon as I smelt it I could smell the vanilla. I absolutely love anything with vanilla in it. this is another scent I adore.
The vanilla has a sweet and comforting scent, Neroli Oil again will uplift and tone with Lavender Oil balancing and calming. This will be perfect if you are struggling to sleep, have a bath with this before bed and I get the feeling you would drop off quite quickly.

Avon Supreme Length Nourishing Mascara

Avon Supreme Length Nourishing Mascara | Tea And Beauty

I always wear mascara, whether I have a full face, the au naural 'look' or literally bare faced. The problem I have though is I have quite long lashes to begin with, so finding a mascara that doesn't make my lashes look like spider legs is harder than you think. So when I came across Avon's new Supreme Length Nourishing Mascara I just had to try it.

Now the thing that actually drew me to this one was the benefits of wearing it, this is not your average joe mascara, oh no! This one is infused with coconut and argan oils.
So as you are wearing it the coconut oil will work from root to tip to reinforce every lash strand. Whilst that is working the argan oil will help to deeply condition and soften your lashes. How amazing does that sound?

The question is though, does it actually work?
My lashes have always been a bit on the coarse side, lets be honest, how many of us just stick on our mascara and then scrub it off at night? This is usually what I tend to do, so no surprise my lashes are like that. I have been using this for about a fortnight now daily and I must admit I have noticed a difference, they really do seem a lot softer than they were before.

I also love the fact that even with two or even three coats my lashes look amazing. They don't look spidery, they are spaced out and not clumped together but yet still managing to look long.
I love the wand that you get with this, it is specially designed to space the lashes and make them look natural. There are two different shades there is black and brown/black.

This normally retails at £10.00 but because Avon are so amazing, they always seem to have deals on products. Like this one, In brochure 4 which you can get from Wednesday it is on offer for just £5.00 so go and grab one here whilst you can because I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

Bluesky Gel Nail Kit | Why I've Stopped Paying For Manicures

Bluesky Gel Nail Kit | Why I've Stopped Paying For Manicures | Tea And Beauty

Painting my nails is one of my favorite things to do, it really calms me and the end result is guaranteed to put a smile on my face. However it does annoy me how much and how quickly it chips, so imagine how happy I was when gel polish come about.
I started going to the salon to have them done but at £23.00 a time, who can afford that every month really? So I started having them done for special occasions, my birthday, Christmas and I had them done before we went to New York.

One day I was reading XameliaX's blog and came across her post about the Bluesky gel nail kit, and better yet Amelia was raving about it. So guess what I got for Christmas? Yes you guessed it the Bluesky gel nail kit. So I sat there on Christmas morning after we had opened the presents and walked Rufus, and painted my nails.
First of all I absolutely love the LED nail lamp that comes with it, not only is it small enough to carry around with you, but it is touch sensitive and turns off after 30 seconds - the right amount of time for curing your polish.

As for the polish I was slightly skeptical, even after reading Amelia's post, purely because I tried gel polishes before myself and they have been less than good. However as I sit here typing this it has been 8 days and there's not a single chip. It's going strong still and I am one happy bunny. The polishes are easy to paint on and once you have wiped the tacky gel off, they turn out to be really shiny.

All you have to do it buffer your nails to rid the shine, base coat, 2 colour coats (I did 3 with a glitter polish), top coat and finally wipe the tacky gel off the top and you are done in around 30 minutes. easy! It does come with instructions, which is a good idea to read through but it is very easy to use.

Now I know people always say getting gel polish off is a nightmare, however with the gel remover and the gel polish remover pads it's easy as pie. Soak the pad in gel remover and wrap the foil around your nail and leave for 15-20 minutes. It then slides right off with an orange stick. My nails still looked happy and healthy even after removing it.

I honestly think this is such an amazing kit and so worth the money, the polishes themselves come in at around £6.50 from JustBeauty or Amazon.
The kit itself is currently £44.99 from JustBeauty.
