Everything But The Memories Review

Everything But The Memories Review

PR Sample

Everything But The Memories is an exciting business I have just found out about and after having a look on their website - I want everything! They do everything from mugs, notebooks, make up bags to wedding items and best of all at very reasonable prices. I was lucky enough to be sent some items from Stacey who runs Everything But The Memories.

I got sent a notebook, a make up bag, a set of three pencils and a pocket mirror. At first glance the items are very well made and so pretty.

The Notebook*

Everything But The Memories Notebook

Everything But The Memories Notebook

This is a beautiful purple colour and fastens with a stretchy string. The paper inside is plain which I think is great as then you can use it not just for writing but you can doodle in it to if you want to. The paper itself is really good quality, I hate notebooks were the paper is super thin and flimsy but this paper isn't like that it's nice and thick and sturdy.
It also has a little wallet at the back of it, again this is great as it would be great for keeping your stickers or anything else you like to use when using a notebook.
This is available to buy at a great price of £5.00. Unfortunately these are currently out of stock, but keep checking back.

Personalised Pencils*

Everything But The Memories Personalised Pencils

I love these pencils, they look so good with the wording embossed on them. The good thing is that these pencils can be personalised so they would make great presents for someone. Or you can choose from their fantastic range they do Harry Potter or Alice In Wonderland themed pencils.
These personalised pencils are just £5.00 for a set of four.

Make-Up Bag*

Everything But The Memories Make Up Bag

Everything But The Memories Make Up Bag

This is truly lovely, it is quite thin fabric which I think makes it perfect for your handbag. To be fair I don't tend to carry all my make up around with me but this has been fantastic for keeping the mirror in along with my hand cream and lip balm, this way I don't end up loosing them in my bag. Great idea yes?! Again these can be personalised with your initials which is fab.
The make up bags are £6.00 each.

Pocket Mirror*

Everything But The Memories Pocket Mirror

Everything But The Memories Pocket Mirror

This one was a lovely surprise and the design that was picked for me is beautiful. It is a lovely size and as I said great for putting in the make up bag and carrying around with me, I have been using this to re-apply my tinted lip balm when I'm out and about as it is now that time of year where I really need to be vigilante with the lip balm, so this has come in so very handy for this.
The mirror's can also be personalised with any picture and message you desire, this would make a great gift for a loved one.
The pocket mirror is £4.00 each.

So what do you think? Personally I love everything that was sent to me and I am already eyeing up the Alice In Wonderland pencils as I am a massive Alice fan. There are so many items I have seen since looking on the website that I want.

What is your favorite item from this list? I think mine is the make up bag if I really must choose one. Let me know in the comments below.

Bagsy Dry shampoo

Bagsy | Hair Wonder Dry Shampoo

Hi lovelies!

This is the second product I have reviewed from Bagsy. The other being their Lip Cocoon Balms.
I'm a bit hit and miss with dry shampoo's to be honest, I know that Batiste is used by so many people but I've never found it to be a wonder product for me, so I went into this expecting the same result to be honest.

Oh how wrong I was!

Per the instructions you spray it onto the roots and leave for two minutes before brushing through....Ok!

The last time I washed my hair properly would have been on the Wednesday so come Friday my hair looked greasy to be honest so that was the perfect time to try this bad boy out. I brushed my teeth, stuck this in my hair and washed my face, did my usual facial routine and then brushed my hair through. My hair went from greasy and limp to beautiful. I was amazed I have to be honest as I don't usually get this with dry shampoo's.
It gets better to because my hair lasted all that day AND the day after to! So I didn't actually have to wash my hair properly again till the Sunday, how amazing is that? I have such thin and fine hair and it tends to go greasy fairly quickly so if I don't wash it everyday then I can't leave it anymore than every other day, resulting in washing it at least 4-5 times a week so to only have to wash it twice was fantastic. Oh and I didn't mention it's only £5.00!!

Bagsy | Hair Wonder Dry Shampoo

This is another Feel Unique exclusive...although if you have been following Bagsy on Instagram you will have heard that their products are coming to a department store, which one? we don't know yet but keep an eye out for that! I love how pretty the packaging is to, it really does look good in the bathroom.

Have you tried Bagsy's Dry Shampoo yet? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.

Lush Haul

Lush Haul

Hi lovelies!

I have over the last few weeks become rather obsessed with Lush, more so their bath bombs, melts and bubble bars. There is nothing I love more than a nice soak in the bath. I usually have a bath on a Friday to relax and unwind after doing the school run all week, work and homeschooling my youngest. So I went a bit mad and put in a rather big order to see me through a while.
If you don't have one, you may want to make a cup of tea as this is a rather long post.

Frozen Bath Bomb

Lush | Frozen Bath Bomb

This is actually the one that made me put the order in actually as I have heard so many things about this and I could not wait to use it. When I was in the bath I didn't smell it all that much to be honest but it sent the bath water bright blue which I loved. The silver glitter is a gorgeous touch to as the bath is a lovely shimmery blue.
This has Uplifting neroli and precious rose oil along with some grapefruit oil so this lifts your mood along with leaving your skin lovely and soft.

The Comforter Bubble Bar

Lush | The Comforter Bubble Bar

The Comforter smells gorgeous and it's rather on the big side to so I am hoping to push for three baths out of this one.
Bergamot oil, cypress oil and cassis oil is calming, comforting and fruity along with being uplifting and cleansing.

MMMelting Marshmallow Moment

Lush | MMMelting Marshmallow Moment

I've not actually tried Lush's bath oils yet so this will be one to look forward to using. This smells lovely to - just like marshmallows!
Marshmallow powder, fair trade organic cocoa butter, almond oil and chamomile powder will hydrate, soften and condition your skin. Perfect for the autumn/winter months.

Titsy Totsy

Lush | Titsy Totsy

I actually got this one due to the flowers that are embedded in it, it looks so pretty but I am hoping that the flowers actually do float in the bath once the bath bomb has dissolved. Fingers crossed.
Titsy Totsy is infused with rose absolute, jasmine absolute, geranium oil and rosebuds. This will balance and restore along with being floral and seductive. This will be a great one to use I think.

Floating Island

Lush | Floating Island

This smells beautiful and again another bath oil. I do love my bath oils come this time of month so really hoping these are as good as I am thinking they will be.
With sandalwood oil, fair trade organic cocoa butter, almond oil and lemon oil this will be fantastic for your skin as it hydrates and uplifts whilst it softens and conditions.

Rub Rub Rub

Lush | Rub Rub Rub

I can't wait to try this one out, I do love a good exfoliator, there's nothing better than having a good soak and exfoliating and really feeling the benefits and seeing your skin glow. The only thing about this is I was expecting the flowers in it to look like fresh flowers but I'm sure that wont affect it's use.
In this one we have fine sea salt, jasmine absolute, orange flower absolute and cupuacu butter. This will gently exfoliate, uplift and condition and soften the skin.

Milky Bath

Lush | Milky Bath

I've used this one in the past and to say I love it is an understatement! I don't think I have ever spent so long in the bath before I used this, so no Lush order would be complete without a Milky Bath.
Fair trade organic cocoa butter, patchouli oil and orange oil make this the perfect bath for me as it refreshes and rejuvenates whilst it also softens and conditions your skin.

Rose Jam

Lush | Rose Jam

This was one I wanted to try as I love rose scented things in general. It was a very pleasant surprise though when I got it out the box and I saw it was all glittery, it makes it even more pretty.
Rose jam is infused with rose oil, fair trade organic cocoa butter, geranium oil and lemon oil. I can't wait to try this it will balance, restore and uplift whilst softening and conditioning your skin.

Lush | Twilight

This one is supposed to be good if you have difficulty sleeping, some times I do so this will be good for a nice relaxing wind down before bedtime.
Infused with lavender, tonka absolute, benzoin resinoid and ylang ylang oil this will calm and balance and have a lovely floral warm sweet scent.

Sex Bomb

Lush | Sex Bomb

This is so pretty and smells so lovely to. It will be interesting to see what happens with the flower in the middle of this one when it gets dropped in the bath.
Sex bomb has jasmine absolute, clary sage oil and ylang ylang oil, this calms and soothes along with being floral and seductive. I;m thinking this might be great before bed.

Lush | Intergalactic

I was surprised by the smell of this one, it is quite a strong minty smell, it reminds me of a pack of Polo's. Now I know this is what I smelt before I opened the box, even the postman mentioned it! I actually really like the smell of this, it's different for me I usually go with the girly, floral scents so looking forward to trying this one.
Intergalactic has peppermint, cedar wood, grapefruit oil and vetivert oil which makes it a nice uplifting, relaxing and invigorating bath.
The only thing is I have tried the Experimenter before and it smelt lovely but I wasn't to impressed as the bath ended up a dark purple/black colour which wasn't great so hoping this one doesn't turn out the same.

Bubblegum Lip Scrub

Lush | Bubblegum Lip Scrub

I haven't tried the lip scrubs out yet but have always intended to get one, I went with bublegum and it smells divine! I can't make my mind up though if it smells more like bubblegum or like cotton candy, I can smell a bit of both in there.
With organic jojoba oil this will leave your lips naturally moisturised.

The Comforter

Lush | The Comforter

I have heard so much about this that I just had to get it! I tried this the night it came and at first I actually wasn't to sure but having used it again since then it's grown on me and I really love it. It is quite a strong blackcurrant scent but it's lovely. My skin felt really smooth and soft as well after using it which is great.
With cassis absolute, bergamot oil and almond oil this uplifts and comforts whilst hydrating your skin.

Well that's everything. Milky bath is my favorite so far but we'll see what I think after using all of these.

Which is your favorite, is there any here you haven't used that you want to try? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.

Reasons Why I Love Autumn

Hi lovelies,

So September starts a new season, and it happens to be one of my favorites!
Autumn is great for so many reasons and today I am going to share some of those reasons why I love autumn with you.
If like me you prefer being warm and cozy apposed to being hot and sweaty then autumn is a great season that we should all be welcoming.
Why? Well here's a few reasons:

1. Cozy jumpers and cardigans
I love my thick knitted jumpers and cardigans, especially in lovely greys and neutral tones.

2. Scented Candles
Ok so you can burn these all year round but lets be honest they go so well with autumn and winter as it's the start of the new scents. I've just picked up a spiced orange one - yum!

3. Special's menu at Costa
It's the run up to Christmas which means costa start selling their autumn/christmas range I remember last year they came out with a black forrest hot chocolate. It was amazing!

4. Tartan
This year I have really started to love the tartan trend - I NEED a tartan scarf.

5. Walks in the park
Coats, hats and scarves = a lovely romantic walk in the park. It's so pretty when all the leaves turn brown and start falling to the floor.

I LOVE Christmas and September starts the Christmas countdown for me, I can't wait to start putting all the decorations up and wrapping the pressies whilst listening to Christmas songs.

7. Hot Chocolate
Snuggled up on the sofa, watching Netflix and sipping on hot chocolate with whipped cream, yum!

8. Blankets
I love fur blankets and the good thing is they keep you so warm so there's no need to actually stick the heating on for a while longer yet.

What's your favorite season? Are you looking forward to autumn as well? What's your favorite thing about autumn? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.

Tisserand Rose Garden Bath Oil

Tisserand Rose Garden Bath Oil

Hi lovelies!

Today I am talking about Tisserand's Rose Garden Bath Oil. This was another purchase from my Feel Unique order. I always have one day a week where I have a soak in the bath with some bath oil and have a really good pamper. From exfoliating, face masks and de-fuzzing. I usually do this on a Sunday ready for the week ahead. For the past couple of weeks I have been using my Tisserand Bath oil.

I was really looking forward to using this as I love bath oils especially during the autumn/winter months, they do absolute wonders for my skin, which tends to dry out during the colder months so these are great for putting the moisture back in and making my skin really soft.

All you have to do is put a cap full in your bath and swirl it around. So I left the bath to run and came back in expecting the bathroom to smell like roses right?....Errrm kind of!
The smell was so very slight and after a bit I didn't really notice it so that was a bit disappointing to be honest. On the plus side though my skin did feel really nice and softer when I got out the bath. Normally with bath oils they are clear and you wouldn't think you had anything in the bath if you hadn't put it in yourself but with Tisserand it actually turns the bath slightly white with a few bubbles here and there, that is a nice touch I think, for me it adds that extra bit of a pampering touch.

Tisserand Rose Garden Bath Oil

Overall I'm happy with this bath oil....would I buy it again? Probably not, I just think that for £12.50 I expect a little bit more from this. I want a bathroom smelling of roses and the bath to feel like you have some bath oil in there. The only thing I can go by is the Avon Skin So Soft bath oil I normally use, this one is lovely on my skin, you can actually feel it on your skin as your in the bath and that's what I don't get with this one. So for £12.50 it isn't quite up to scratch for me, it's nice but just not for me.

Have you ever used Tisserand Bath Oil? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.

Bagsy Beauty Lip Cocoon Balms

Bagsy Lip Cocoon Balms

Hi lovelies!

If you saw my post on Wednesday about my FeelUnique.com order {post can be found here} then you will remember me saying I ordered some Bagsy Lip Cocoon Balms. I have been constantly using these since I got them.

Bagsy are a fairly new brand and I found out about them whilst browsing the Feel Unique website. I absolutely love lip balms I have them all around the house, I don't know why I keep buying more when I haven't finished the ones I have but hey you can't have to many lip balms...Can you?

The first thing I noticed about these when I got them was the packaging - it's absolutely stunning!
These will look amazing in your handbag right. There are two different balms one is a clear Lemon Lustre and a tinted Raspberry. I got one of each as I couldn't decide between them.

Bagsy Lip Cocoon Balms

Bagsy Lip Cocoon Balms

I did wonder how the Lemon Lustre would smell as lemon scents can be quite strong but in fact it isn't strong at all, it is a lovely subtle scent. This one has a beautiful yellow, green and orange geometric design on the packaging and I think it goes well with the scent.

Bagsy Lip Cocoon Balms

Bagsy Lip Cocoon Balms

The tinted Raspberry balm has a beautiful girly cherry blossom feel to the packaging and the balm it's self is slightly tinted in a pinky/red colour.

These actually came in perfect time as around the end of August the weather here changed and we have a few days where it went from dry, sunny weather to absolutely lashing it down with rain and it's certainly gone colder. Therefore for some reason my top lip went really dry and slightly cracked. So this was the perfect way to test these balms out and see what they were made of.

I used these probably about 4-5 times a day to top up after having a drink etc and after just a few days I noticed a difference in my top lip. It was a lot less cracked and slightly softer. It wasn't completely gone yet but they did so well in just those two days that I continued using them and in less than a week my lip was pretty much back to normal. I was so pleased about this as I have had this before and even Vaseline has taken a bit longer than that.

Lemon Lustre is a clear balm so it just makes your lips look slightly shinier but Raspberry is great as it is tinted. You can actually wear this with no make-up and it gives you that nice rosy colour to your lips but it's not to much. Even with make-up it's a nice subtle colour to your lips.

These balms are full of Sunflower oil, Shea Butter, Castor Oil and Beeswax so they leave your lips feeling nourished and softer. And boy do they! If they can get rid of my scaly top lip then they are a winner to me. They are just £7.00 each and you can buy them from Feel Unique.

What do you think to these lip balms, will you be purchasing any? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.

Banana And Berry Smoothie

Banana And Berry Smoothie

Hi Lovelies!

If you follow me on Instagram, you will know I recently got a blender and ever since I have been having smoothies every morning for breakfast. I thought I would share my favorite one so far with you and it's this banana and berry smoothie.

I love fruit and this is a great way to aim for your 5 a day!

What you will need:
One Banana (chopped)
Frozen berry mix
Apple Juice (150 ml)

Banana And Berry Smoothie

It is super easy, just stick everything in your cup, stick the lid on and blend until smooth. Pour into a glass or even leave it in the sports cup and switch lid from the blender lid to the sports lid.

Banana And Berry Smoothie

I would suggest if your drinking it out of a glass then a straw comes in handy, like an idiot I forgot to pick some up so after the next photo I had to stick it back into my sports cup to drink it (doh!)

Banana And Berry Smoothie

It's super easy and so tasty! I'm sure you will love it.

What is your favorite smoothie? Let me know in the comments below.

My Feel Unique Order

Feel Unique

Hi Lovelies!

The other week I put in my very first FeelUnique.com order. I have seen their products so much on TV, Instagram, Twitter etc but never actually ordered anything. I think I have always preferred to go into a shop to buy things just purely for the fact that I have the item there and then!

I decided one day to have a look on their website and came across some items I actually really wanted to try but you can't get them in the shops and they are a FeelUnique.com Exclusive.
I decided now was the time to put an order in so I added my items to the basket and signed up.
What I loved about Feel Unique is that if you are a new customer you get 15% off your first order. You also get free delivery if you spend £10.00 or more, personally I think this is great as most retailers you have to spend a minimum of £20.00 + most of the time to get the free delivery.
After signing up I filled in my personal profile, and here's another thing I loved, once you have filled in your profile you then get to choose one brand off the entire website and you then get 10% off that brand for life. You do get the chance to change your chosen brand after 6 months if you wish. How amazing is that? So every time you order that brand you automatically get 10% off it at the checkout.

I'm guessing you want to know what I brought? Well here it is:

Bagsy Lip Cocoon Balm - Lemon Lustre £7.00
Bagsy Lip Cocoon Balm - Raspberry £7.00
Bagsy Hair Wonder Dry Shampoo £5.00
Tisserand Rose Garden Bath Oil £12.50

I love lip balms, I have so many lying around the house that when I saw these I just had to get them both. Dry shampoo is something I love, it's great if I simply can't be bothered to wash my hair and it's in that in-between stage. Bath oil is also an essential for me during the autumn/winter seasons. My skin tends to dry out a bit with wearing jumpers, scarves etc as it tends to get less air plus the cold weather but bath oils really help with making my skin soft and moisturised still.

I was really impressed by the delivery to it was dispatched very quickly the next working day if I remember rightly! I ordered the day before Bank Holiday Monday so it was dispatched on the Tuesday, it was delivered to me on the Friday by courier. I qualified for the free delivery but I did actually pay £1.00 to get it tracked as I always prefer to track my packages if I can just so I know if it's being delivered that day and I know not to go out so I don't miss it.

So there we have it, I am currently trying everything out but I will put them up on my blog very soon so keep an eye out for that.
What did you think to the items I brought, have you ever used FeelUnique.com before? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.

Simple Illuminating Radiance Cream

Simple Illuminating Radiance Cream

Hi lovelies!

A couple of weeks ago I brought this Simple Illuminating Radiance Cream and I have been using it ever since. I actually got it from Boots whilst on offer. I have been looking for something like this to give my skin a bit of a pick me up. Now that the autumn/winter seasons are creeping up on us, this is the time of the year my skin always looks a bit dry.

This cream is infused with multi-vitamins, skin-loving ingredients and light reflecting minerals. It captures the light for immediate natural radient looking skin. It also has a SPF 15 so it protects you from UVA and UVB damage.

The cream it's self is a creamy colour and has little flecks of gold in it - this is those light reflecting minerals we were talking about. It does feel lightweight and not greasy at all.
It sunk into my skin very easy and quickly and my skin didn't look or feel greasy either. I actually used this underneath my usual anti-ageing day cream.

Simple Illuminating Radiance Cream

After a couple of days I really did notice a difference in my skin, it looked healthier, brighter and more awake. I think this will be perfect for the winter months. Even with make up on my skin still had that healthy glow to it. The little bottle it comes in is really cute to and looks good in the bathroom.

Simple Illuminating Radiance Cream

You can find this in Boots for £6.59.

Have you tried this yet? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.
